Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard
Krasnoye Sormovo is currently building commercial vessels up to 15,000 DWT. The yard’s production capacities are well fitted for offshore structures and modules of drilling and production platforms. The use of CAD/CAM and other state-of-the-art technology is employed in all phases of the design and construction of ships. Commercial ships, built at the yard (tanker project 19614 and 19619, dry-cargo ship project RSD 17 and others) meet all the requirements of the international conventions. The projects of the Yadr's orders booked include commercial vessels that meet all the requirements of international conventions: tankers project 19614 and 19619, dry-cargo ship project RSD17, etc. Tankers projects 19619 and 19614 were designed by MNP Group's engineering center (now - the Volgo-Caspian Design Bureau). Tanker project 19619 DWT 13,000 mt is the largest tanker built for the Caspian Sea. It is able to touch at any port of the Caspian Sea, outfitted with oil-loading terminals as well as to take the Black Sea and other seas without tug. Maximum draught of the tanker is 7 m. Double sides and a souble bottom of the tanker prevent from the oil spillage. High performance of the tanker is provided by two screws, bow thruster and length – 150 m – minimum for tankers of such deadweight. In 2005 under the order of Saipem SpA (Italy) the Yard built the right pontoon of the construction barge (platform) Ersai 1 for the Kazakhstan field Kashagan in the North Caspian. All the system and pipelines of the barge, consisting of two pontoons, were jointed afloat in Lotos Shipyard's water area, where the barges was fitted out and passed the trial performance as well. The major works were performed by Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard's specialists. The barge was delivered to the customer in April of 2006 and successfully operated 2006 summer season. Dry-cargo ship project RSD17 DWT 6,270 is intended for transportation of all types of general cargoes, including 20 and 40-ft inetrnational stardard containers of 9 ft height. The project of the ship was designed by Marine Engineering Bureau (Odessa, Ukraine). The lead ship of the project - «Mirzaga Khalilov» - was certified by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) for conformance to ECO standard. As compared to the vessels, built in conformity with requirements ÌÊ ÌÀÐÏÎË73/78, the vessels with ECO symbol conform to the strict criteria for the aquatic environment and environmental emissions as well as for power consumption. RSD17 is the first Russian vessel, having this symbol. |
