Type: untethered, manned, self-propelled apparatus transportable by motor and air transport means, based on surface or underwater carriers.
Purpose: rescue of crew from the damaged submarine on the bottom, clearing of coaming platform of damaged submarine, search and examination of other underwater objects using hydroacoustic means (when launched from the carrier ship), underwater work within the manipulator range, including ship salvaging.
