Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard Wins Tender to Deliver Oil Tanker to Turkmendenizderyaellary

Nizhni Novgorod, April, 30, 2010. Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard (MNP Group) won the tender to deliver “river-sea” oil tanker with the deadweight of about 7100 tons to Turkmendenizderyaellary (Turkmenistan).

Several shipbuilding companies from different countries took part in the tender including Ukraine, Turkey and Russia. The technical features: length – 141.4 m, beam – 16.84 m, hull height – 6.82 m, deadweight in sea – about 7000 tons with the draft of 4.60 m, in river – 4700 tons with the draft of 3.60 m, capacity of 12 cargo tanks and two slop tanks – 8256 cubic meters, main propulsion engine – 2x120 kW, operational speed – 10.5 knots.
