Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard signed a contract with Turkmenian Sea and River Shipping Company for construction of third tanker
Nizhniy Novgorod, May, 26. Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard (MNP Group) and Turkmendenizderyayellary (Turkmenian Sea and River Shipping Company) signed a contract for construction of third tanker of about 7000 DWT. In April, 2010 Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard won a tender for construction a tanker.
Basic specifications of the vessel: Maximum length is 141.4 m, breadth – 16.84 m, depth – 6.82 m, deadweight – about 7100 tons (in sea, with draught 4.6 m) and 4700 tons (in river, with draught 3.6 m), capacity of 12 cargo and two slop tanks – 8,256 cubic m, main engine power - 2õ1200 kW, speed – 10.5 knots.
The Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard has already constructed two tankers for Turkmendenizderyayellary. The first tanker «Sumbar» was handed over to the customer in August, 2009; the second ship «Hazar» - in October, 2009.
