Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard Sends “Aktobe” for Sea Trials

Nizhni Novgorod, April, 27, 2010. The second tanker, which is being built for Kazmortransflot at Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard, has been sent for sea trials. The tanker is named “Aktobe”. Under the contract, Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard will build three oil tankers for Kazmortransflot. The first tanker was delivered to the customer in September 2009.

The tanker has a length of 150 m, beam – 17.30 m, draft – 7.14 m. The vessel will comply with all navigation safety standards. The tanker with the deadweight of 13 470 tons can deliver three types of oil products and operate in any weather conditions with the cold-temperate maritime climate. The crew is 20 people, endurance – 20 days. Ship class is КМ Ice 1 1 R1 AUT1 Oil tanker (ESP) of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
